BIOGRAPHY

Aisha Roberts, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Raukawa, is the passionate curator behind the Te Wānanga o Aotearoa art collection, Te Kōpuni Kura. As an artist with a background in museum practice, Aisha brings deep insight into the stories, artists, and cultural significance of the works she cares for. Her curatorial approach is grounded in manaakitanga and whakapapa—fostering connections between people and place and positioning the collection as living taonga that enriches the educational experience and cultural environment of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
